MLK Event to kick off new programming aimed at deep, meaningful dialogue

'Dialogue and Difference' series to address everyday challenges of finding common ground, understanding

How do we find common ground when we all see life through a different lens and yet also have meaningful dialogue with strong takeaways?

A new ½­ÄÏÌåÓý series – Dialogue and Difference: A New Understanding – presents a yearlong schedule of educational programs to help foster a better understanding of our many diverse voices.

The series kicks off Feb. 1 with "MLK and Me: Living a Life of Peace During Conflict."  The free, ticketed event features a lunch conversation that centers on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s guiding principles.

President Todd Diacon hopes the campus community will embrace this series of events as an opportunity to connect and gain a new perspective.
