KENT STATE TUSCARAWAS LIBRARY AND MAKERSPACE OFFERING SUMMER FUN FOR EVERYONE

As the summer months roll in, the �������� at Tuscarawas Library and Makerspace is once again opening its doors to imagination, learning and family fun, transforming into a vibrant hub of joy and discovery.

This year’s “Summer Fun for Everyone at KSU Tusc” promises exciting opportunities for all age groups, offering a dynamic lineup of activities designed to inspire, connect and entertain.

“We have a great lineup of events planned this year for all ages!” says Maria Feik, event coordinator. “Many of our faculty and staff have volunteered their time and talents to bring another outstanding program to life, including Adult Days, Family Craft Days, and the End of Summer Party.”

The best part? Every event is completely free and open to the community.

From hands-on creative afternoons to skill-building workshops, the schedule is filled with engaging experiences. Try your hand at building robotics, container gardening, wildflower painting, an egg drop competition and bocce ball. Spend the day with a veterinarian, explore nursing as a career, or even create your own book.

Young athletes can take advantage of the Golden Eagles Basketball Camp, led by Coach Richard Tharp and members of the men’s basketball team—offering skill-building and fun on the court.

Mark your calendar for these events that are open for the entire family:

• May 29, June 26, July 10 – Family Craft Days
• June 9 – Taco Time!!
• July 28 – Pirates Story Time
• July 30 – End of Summer Party

Due to limited space, RSVPs are required for children/teen and adult day programs. As classes fill, additional sessions or new dates may be added.

Whether you're looking to try something new, learn a fun skill, or simply enjoy quality time with family, there's something for everyone at KSU Tusc this summer.
