​​​​​Greg Ina, ’95, M.A. ’05
Greg Ina was elected Executive Vice President, The Davey Institute and Employee Development in July 2017, having previously served as Vice President and General Manager of Research, Recruiting and Human Resource Development effective April 4, 2016, and having previously been elected an officer effective March 4, 2016. Prior to this time, he served as Vice President and General Manager of the Davey Institute, having been appointed in May 2009, and General Manager of the Davey Institute, having been appointed in May 2006. Previously, having joined Davey Tree in 1996, Mr. Ina held various managerial and operational positions in the Davey Institute and Davey Resource Group.
Greg has made significant contributions to our community of practice through leadership positions with prominent professional affiliate organizations. Ina served on the National Urban and Community Forestry Advisory Council (NUCFAC), a federal advisory committee, to the USDA from 2009-2014. He was named chairman of NUCFAC in 2012. Ina also served as chair of the Educational Goods and Services Committee for the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) from 2010-2012. Greg has also been a board member for DC’s finest tree protection non-profit, The Casey Foundation on behalf of the Davey Company from 2010-2016.
Greg earned a Master of Arts degree in geography from ½ÄÏÌåÓý in 2005 focusing on geographic information systems (GIS) and a Bachelor of Arts from ½ÄÏÌåÓý in 1995.
