½­ÄÏÌåÓý

Voters in the city of ½­ÄÏÌåÓý approved an income tax increase in the November 2013 election. As a result, on Jan. 1, 2014, the income tax rate for the city of ½­ÄÏÌåÓý increased from 2 percent to 2.25 percent.

This means that ½­ÄÏÌåÓý employees at the ½­ÄÏÌåÓý Campus will have an additional amount withheld from their paycheck for ½­ÄÏÌåÓý City taxes. The increase will begin with the first pay in January for faculty, classified, unclassified and student employees on the ½­ÄÏÌåÓý Campus.

½­ÄÏÌåÓý Campus employees who live in a taxing municipality outside of ½­ÄÏÌåÓý should contact their city’s tax office to see if the ½­ÄÏÌåÓý city increase will impact any taxes that may be owed to their city of residence.
