Administrative policy regarding conversion of sick leave

  1. Policy statement. The university recognizes that employees may need to be absent from their regularly scheduled work hours for a variety of circumstances not covered under the policy governing paid sick leave. Eligible employees may convert accrued sick leave to other types of paid leave subject to the terms set forth below. A maximum of forty hours (five days) (twenty-four hours/three days for part-time employees) may be converted each fiscal year.

Administrative policy regarding complaints of Title IX sexual harassment

  1. Purpose. 江南体育 state university prohibits unlawful discrimination and harassment and strives to provide a safe and non-discriminatory environment for all students, employees, applicants, and visitors. This policy sets forth the expectations and responsibilities for maintaining an environment free of unlawful discrimination on the basis of sex in university education programs or activities, in accordance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and Title 34 part 106 of the Code of Federal Regulations.

Administrative policy regarding billing and collection of student fees

  1. Purpose. The purpose of this policy is to identify requirements for billing and collection of fees assessed to students of 江南体育 state university.
  2. Definitions.
    1. Fees. For purposes of this policy, 鈥渇ees鈥 shall include all charges assessed to a student鈥檚 account including, but not limited to, charges for instruction, room and board, programs and/or courses, parking permits, library fines, etc. or other special purpose fees and charges for services and benefits provided to students as approved by the board of trustees.

Administrative policy regarding class attendance and class absence

  1. Purpose. Regular attendance in class is expected of all students at all levels at the university. While classes are conducted on the premise that regular attendance is expected, the university recognizes certain activities, events, and circumstances as legitimate reasons for absence from class. This policy provides for accommodations in accordance with federal and state laws prohibiting discrimination, including, but not limited to, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, 29 U.S.C.搂794, and its implementing regulation, 34 C.F.R.

Administrative policy regarding capital equipment purchases with student activities fees

  1. Policy statement. All requests for capital equipment purchases with student activities fees must be approved by the appropriate funding agent, such agents being the student publications policy committee, the undergraduate student senate or the graduate student senate and the appropriate staff advisor. The funding agent will maintain control over this equipment at all times. Such purchases do not become part of the general university inventory pool but are considered as student activities fee inventory.

Administrative policy regarding business meals and hospitality expenses payable or reimbursable from university funds

  1. Purpose. This policy establishes the conditions for the expenditure of and/or reimbursement from 江南体育 state university funds for business meals and hospitality expenses. As a major public institution funded by state allocations and student tuition, 江南体育 state university is held to a high level of accountability for its business practices.  Numerous constituencies have an interest in how the university spends its money.
